The Mitutoyo 112-177 is a 0 to 1-inch point micrometer with hardened steel tips, designed for measuring the web thickness of drills, small grooves, and other difficult-to-reach dimensions. It is a vernier (analog) model, not digital.

Key features
  • Specialized points: The micrometer has pointed spindle and anvil tips with a 15° angle and a small radius (approx. 0.3mm or 0.012 in). This design allows it to measure narrow or curved features that a standard micrometer cannot reach.
  • High accuracy: It offers a high level of precision with a graduation of 0.001 inch and an accuracy of ±0.00015 inch.
  • Measurement range: The micrometer has a measuring range of 0 to 1 inch.
  • Consistent force: A built-in ratchet stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on the workpiece, ensuring consistent and repeatable measurements.
