The Mitutoyo 126-140 is a mechanical screw thread micrometer with a 3 to 4-inch measuring range designed for inspecting the pitch diameter of various screw threads. It features interchangeable V-anvils and conical spindle tips, which must be purchased separately, to measure different thread types.

Key features 
  • Measurement range: 3–4 inches.Accuracy: \(\pm 0.00025\) inches, according to DGI Supply and other retailers.Graduation: 0.001 inches.
  • Thimble : Ratchet stop for applying uniform pressure and obtaining repeatable measurements.
  • Finish: Satin chrome finish on the thimble and sleeve for glare-free, easy reading.
  • Construction: Features a heat shield to protect accuracy from body heat during use.
  • Anvils and spindle tips: Interchangeable pairs are available separately to measure metric/unified 60° and Whitworth 55° threads.
